A Traveling Classical Piano Instructor

Sterling Lacaden is an Oregon born pianist who has studied piano since the age of 6 (now 25). He began with his piano teacher Heidi Raddatz Bruno who helped him achieve all piano grades under the OMTA Syllabus Examinations. Continuing his education in piano he studied with world class concert pianists Momoko Muramatsu and Julia Hwakyu Lee in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree at PCC/PSU. His career as a piano instructor began in 2017 through the non-profit program Play It Forward founded by Michael Allen Harrison. Since then he has been privileged to see many students discover their natural skills, musical goals, and find a sense of artistry and achievement in their own playing. Now through his own private studio as primarily a traveling piano instructor, he works to build an environment that allows people to discover, rediscover, and chase their musical goals with a shared sense of passion and joy for the piano.
